Throughout
much of his art career, Mike Kopriva has been commissioned to create specific
works for individuals, companies, and State agencies. Over the years his versatility
has been essential in interpreting various subjects through different media
for his clients.
Mike's
solid background in design has enabled him to work in scales ranging from
miniatures to murals, using both two-dimensional and three-dimensional
concepts. Some of the projects he has completed are quite complex, encompassing
many scenes; other commissions may be a simple portrait or a customer's favorite
landscape. Good communication with the person or agency is always important
to achieve satisfaction for both patron and artist. Preliminary sketches and
scale models are frequently used by Mike to help visualize his ideas.
